To qualify for this visa, you must show sufficient passive income or savings to support yourself and your family without working in Greece:

Minimum Monthly Passive Income:

  • €3,500 for the main applicant

  • +20% (€700) for a spouse

  • +15% (€525) per dependent child

Eligible Income Sources:

  • Dividends

  • Interest from savings or investments

Alternative Savings Option:
If you don’t have recurring income,, you may deposit a lump sum of €126,000 in a Greek bank account to cover your expenses for the initial three years.

  • Initial Residence Permit: Valid for 3 years, renewable thereafter.

  • Minimum Stay: You must reside in Greece for at least 183 days per year to maintain residency status.

  • Employment Prohibited: The FIP Visa does not permit work or business activity in Greece. You are expected to live on your passive income from your home country.
